Food & Beverage Manager

We’re looking for an experienced F&B Manager to oversee operations and be responsible for guest and employee satisfaction. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role and will be required to develop and implement an F&B business plan.

  • Key responsibilities:
    • Oversee all bar, restaurant, banqueting, and room service operations.
    • Promote a culture that is focused on continuous learning and development.
    • Outline performance standards, monitor employee performance, and conduct timely reviews.
    • Take ownership of a guest complaint until it is either resolved or addressed by the appropriate manager or employee.
    • Oversee budgeting and maintain a positive cost management index for kitchen and restaurant operations.

Breakfast Chef

We’re looking for an experienced Breakfast Chef to join our kitchen team here at the Silverbirch Hotel.

  • The ideal candidate must:
    • Be enthusiastic and hard working.
    • Have experience in running a breakfast service, as well as experience in organising the mise en place for a busy lunch service.
    • Be confident cooking for large numbers (previous breakfast section experience would be advantageous).
    • Be highly organised and able to work to strict deadlines.
    • Ideally have completed an NVQ 1 and NVQ 2.

Chef de Partie

We’re looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team here at the Silverbirch Hotel.

  • Key responsibilities:
    • Prepare, cook and present dishes within your speciality.
    • Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef with the development of new dishes and menus.
    • Ensure that you and your team maintain high standards of food hygiene, following all health and safety rules.
    • Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
    • Manage and train any Demi-Chef de Parties or Commis Chefs working with you.
